A marvellous project. Our task: to support the Schimmelpenninck.Design team and realise as many of their design and finishing ideas as possible. To create the calculation and obtain it for two high-quality editions, to guide the repro, to proof, to print and to be the lightning rod for everything that comes along. The Collector’s Edition in the red clamshell is a piece of art. The special thing here is the many material changes and finishes in the book, a lot of manual work. The order came at the end of 2019, the book was officially presented in October 2021 at the Cologne Opera House, when this was possible again for the first time.

Ein wunderbares Projekt. Unsere Aufgabe: Das Team Schimmelpenninck.Design zu unterstützen und soviele ihrer Design- und Ausstattungsideen zu ermöglichen, wie machbar, die Kalkulation zu erstellen und für zwei hochwertige Ausgaben zu erhalten, die Repro anzuleiten, zu proofen, zu drucken und für alles, was da kommt, der Blitzableiter zu sein. Die Collector Edition in der roten Clamshell ist ein Schmuckstück. Das besondere hier die vielen Materialwechsel und Veredelungen im Buch, mächtig Handarbeit. Der Auftrag kam Ende 2019, das Buch wurde Oktober 2021 in der Oper Köln offiziell präsentiert, als dies zum ersten Mal wieder möglich war.
